JANUARY 24, 2013 - UNITED STATES - A pink UFO has been spotted on Google Street View - the latest bizarre image to be found on the popular mapping service. The mysterious domed object was found in the skies by a woman looking for directions in the town of St Peters. Matching the popular image of an alien craft, the discovery has prompted much debate.

St Louis news station KPLR asked Director John Lakey of St Louis' McDonnel Planetary Center for his views, he said: "That's almost certainly a lens flair effect. Yeah, it just looks like an artifact from a lens.

"An alien space craft is probably one of the least likely things that an unidentified object would be, just because the distances between stars is just too vast for any kind of realistic travel.

The mysterious domed object was found in the skies by a woman looking for directions in the town of St Peters.

"It's a UFO, it's unidentified. By definition it's an unidentified flying object or some object that just, we don't know what it is." Last September a very similar pink object was captured in Jacksonville, Texas. - MIRROR.
