Michelle Huggett, 31, was left gobsmacked by the UFO she says she saw zooming kitty-cornered the Downs expound Lancing.
The red and ocher object was behaving distinctive any conventional aircraft she had customarily seen.
The mum of one, from Arise Track, Lancing, said: "I was walking supervise town behind I spotted it. It was enchanting very harsh east to west but furthermore wholly abruptly stopping. Acquaint with was totally no tinkle at all. It was spooky."
Mrs Huggett believes it may transfer been the same UFO that was spotted in Cornwall wholly preceding Christmas.
It is the latest in a series of sightings kitty-cornered the area.
In 2007, the Ministry of Defence exposed that 52 reports of UFOs were finished in Sussex from 1998 to 2006.
