A VETERAN NASA agent who says he processed the real X-Files has come clean with the inside story on the Roswell aliens.
Joseph Richard Gutheinz Jr, a practising criminal lawyer and decorated former NASA special agent, spoke out in defence of UFO hacker Gary Mckinnon last week. Having also spent the last four years on the Texas Criminal Justice Advisory Committee on Medical and Mental Impairments, he felt qualified to call on the US government to cease its unfair hounding of the UFO hacker.
But Gutheinz, it turns out, is himself a poster-boy for UFO conspiracists, just like McKinnon: he is famous for telling a mysterious tale of dead Roswell aliens being kept in Building 265 at NASA's Johnson Space Centre where he used to work in Houston, and of a sinister government cover up.
Gutheinz led a team of agents in NASA's Office of the Inspector General (OIG). They worked from a secret bunker with grass and trees covering it. It had cypher doors leading to secluded rooms furnished with nothing but a desk, a lamp and a single telephone. Beyond the steel doors to the outside world, astronauts were training for Space Shuttle missions.
"It was kind of a spooky building. People always wondered what went on there," Gutheinz told The Inquirer. "Except for Mission Control, it was the most highly secured building at Johnson Space Centre."
The OIG agents were so secret that even NASA wasn't allowed to know what they were investigating. "The joke at NASA OIG is that whoever was the producer of the X-Files picked the wrong agency, because nobody calls the FBI. They don't trust the FBI. What they do if they think they've been abducted or something like that, they used to call the criminal investigators at NASA, which is the Office of the Inspector General.
"As a senior special agent I used to get these calls on a regular basis where somebody says I've been abducted, I've got a chip in my brain, there's somebody following me around," he said.
"It's one of the things that interested me about the Gary McKinnon story because here's a guy who really thinks there's UFOs, who's going the extra step to prove it. I understood that, because I had dealt with so many of those individuals in the past," Gutheinz added.
The most prominent of those people was Jerry Alan Whittredge, who impersonated an astronaut and thought he was a CIA assassin. He blagged his way into Mission Control, was given Space Shuttle specifications and permission to fly jets. "That was a lot of the people that we used to get calls from," said Gutheinz.
OIG agents were involved in the seven-agency investigation that caught Gary McKinnon snooping around their systems for evidence of captured UFO technology. Typically, the OIG roots out internal fraud at NASA. That's why they have to be secret. What they don't do is interrogate aliens.
The truth
"Just so you know, so we are totally clear," said Gutheinz. "You can dig all over the place - there is no ET at NASA."
But it was Gutheinz who in the February/March 2005 edition of UFO Magazine wrote how he had been abducted by agents even more secret than his own; how, being unable to account for whole days, with only vague memories of brain chips, he stumbled across the desert outpost in New Mexico where the Roswell aliens had been autopsied and a terrible accident had turned NASA personnel to dust in their own biological suits.
"I had taken complaints from people who believed the government had placed transmitter/receivers in their brains before, and I had always assumed they were schizophrenics," wrote Gutheinz. "Even today I know many people who believe this happened to them probably are schizophrenics, but now I know some are telling the truth?"
But Gutheinz was only kidding. He wrote the story for fun. He now finds it embarrassing. His children and students take the mickey out of him. His wife thinks he'll never live it down. And it was just the transcript of a vivid nightmare that had merged his life in a secret NASA bunker with the calls he would get from conspiracy theorists. Just a transcript, cheekily submitted to a UFO Magazine with an introduction that asked, are these real memories or was it just a dream?
"I thought it was a great idea when I wrote it, because I understood it. But it was sort of like Andy Kaufman. His humour - you were the only one who got it some of the time. I got it when I wrote the thing. I thought it was novel," said Gutheinz.
The magazine wrote it up under the headline 'Alien Autopsy Expose - He knows where NASA hid the bodies'.
A self-confessed maverick, Guntheinz has a track record in causing mischief. What do you think he did with those calls he got about alien abduction at NASA?
"I hate to say it, but when I had a rascal instinct, I would find somebody at the FBI didn't like, and I would give them that phone number and have them call the FBI," confessed Gutheinz.
Won't somebody please come forward and reassure us that there really are aliens? That this fragile, lonely planet isn't all we have? La semana pasada fue, por decir lo menos, una semana at'ipica en el mundo del misterio. Esto debido a tres noticias en las que de alguna forma se "acreditaba", con fotos y sobre todo con v'ideos, la existencia de t'opicos sumamente populares entre nuestros lectores como son los seres EXTRATERRESTRES, los OVNIS y los FANTASMAS.
El Extra~no ser de Quives
El pasado lunes 10 de febrero, el investigador peruano y experto en temas ufol'ogicos, ANTHONY CHOY, hizo p'ublica la existencia de un v'ideo en donde se muestra lo que pareciera ser una extra~na figura con aspecto humanoide movi'endose y caminando entre los matorrales de la ciudad de SANTA ROSA DE QUIVES, en CANTA, en donde fue obtenida la grabaci'on.
Seg'un narra Choy en su P'aGINA WEB, los autores de la cinta fueron una pareja de m'edicos, quienes en un momento de su visita a este pueblo, decidi'o alejarse del grupo que integraban para realizar algunas fotograf'ias en un peque~no bosque al borde del r'io Chill'on.
Luego de las fotos, deciden filmar usando la misma c'amara digital y fue en ese momento, en que el m'edico empieza a sentir la presencia de alguien en los alrededores. "Me siento muy fastidiado, no s'e por qu'e", llega a decir el joven en la cinta.
Fue justamente en ese momento, entre las quejas del doctor, en que aparece la extra~na figura en la cinta.
Seg'un puede verse en el v'ideo, la figura que aparece entre los minutos 1:31 y 1:37, tiene forma humanoide, se traslada de un lugar a otro, tiene unos 70 cent'imetros de alto, es delgado y de color verde, casi mimetizado con la maleza.
Choy, quien ha bautizado a la imagen como el "Extra~no ser de Quives" (que nos recuerda mucho al EXTRA~nO SER DE M'eRIDA del que hemos dado noticia en este blog), asegura que por lo menos a primera vista, no hay indicios de alg'un tipo de manipulaci'on en las im'agenes que pudieran dar la presunci'on de fraude, sin embargo, tambi'en sostiene que a'un faltan muchos elementos para analizar para saber la autenticidad de la cinta.

EL OVNI DE CHORRILLOS
El otro hecho ocurri'o dos d'ias despu'es. Esta vez, el portal PERU.COM hac'ia p'ublico el avistamiento de un supuesto OBJETO VOLADOR NO IDENTIFICADO (Ovni) en la playa La Pampilla, en el Morro Solar de Chorrillos, en Lima.
En esta oportunidad no se obtuvo un registro en v'ideo del hecho pero s'i se public'o una fotograf'ia, que en este tipo de casos, siempre es importante.
El autor de la imagen y principal testigo del hecho es RAFAEL CORVACHO, un tablista que en esos momentos se encontraba pr'oximo al mar y que al ver aquel objeto sobrevolando la cabeza de alguno de sus compa~neros no hizo m'as que sacar su c'amara fotogr'afica y realizar la toma.
Seg'un cuenta Corvacho el objeto que divis'o se mov'ia de derecha a izquierda con movimientos cortos y r'apidos. Comenta tambi'en que pudo ver que el objeto ten'ia un centro transparente y que estuvo sobrevolando el mar por un espacio de dos minutos y que luego desapareci'o de su vista de manera intempestiva.
"Para m'i y para las personas que estuvieron en el lugar era un OVNI", ha dicho convencido Corvacho a la referida p'agina web.
EL FANTASMA DE REECE PITMAN
Por 'ultimo, nada menos que el viernes 13, el portal web del diario THE SUN, difundi'o las im'agenes de un v'ideo filmado por un joven de doce a~nos de edad, en el que supuestamente se habr'ia filmado a un FANTASMA.
El v'ideo, que fue captado por la c'amara de un celular, fue filmado por Reece Pitman, un joven de doce a~nos quien luego de escuchar los comentarios de su peque~na hermana de 9 a~nos sobre una extra~na compa~n'ia dentro de la casa, decidi'o coger su tel'efono celular y pasearse por las habitaciones de su hogar para filmar a este supuesto ente.
El v'ideo muestra entre los segundos 9 y 13, una sombra que cruza el tiro de c'amara. Ciertamente lo que se ve all'i es s'olo una sombra y pudo haber quedado all'i, sin embargo, la BRITISH PARANORMAL SOCIETY (Sociedad de sucesos paranormales de Gran Breta~na) ha considerado que la cinta podr'ia ser "la mejor imagen de fantasmas en a~nos".

Ciertamente ac'a no creemos ni dejamos de creer en nada pero tambi'en es cierto que cada vez m'as, la tecnolog'ia pone en manos de las personas herramientas capaces de realizar ediciones y adiciones que antes s'olo eran posibles gracias a la labor de algunos expertos y conocedores de estos temas.
Tambi'en es cierto que Internet se ha convertido en el gran campo en donde v'ideos y fotograf'ias como 'estas circulan de manera libre, muchas veces sin que nadie se pronuncie sobre la veracidad o autenticidad de las mismas.
En todo caso nosotros estaremos atentos ante cualquier explicaci'on, aclaraci'on o conclusi'on de las investigaciones que se realicen en torno a estas im'agenes.

FOLLOWING our story on UFO sightings, one reader has contacted Your Vale to share his own close encounter.
Ernie Edwards speaking in his first newspaper interview, says he was walking home from work towards Cyffylliog in 1970 when he was met with a circular flying object, which then went on to abduct him.
"It was a lovely moonlit night, and as I looked up, I saw this very bright scarlet light, which became a massive round object with a pulsating light which was only about 50 yards away from me. It looked cigar-shaped to start with, and then changed shape," said Ernie, who now lives in Prestatyn.
"Obviously I knew it was a flying saucer when it changed shape. I was terrified on the spot. It turned on its side and shot off towards a house, and hovered above it."
Ernie, who works as a driver for nursing homes, also described his apparent abduction by the craft and - although he has no memory of how he came aboard - being examined by what he describes as "tall, grey beings".
"The craft appeared to me as an oval-shaped room at the time, where I was laid on a metallic table, as I were in a hospital," said Ernie.
"The beings spoke through their minds to me, telepathically and in a very strange, very fast sort of gibberish. I was just staring at their eyes.
"A couple of days after that experience I came out in a rash, from head to toe. I honestly believe that I had some sort of radiation rash after meeting people not strictly of this world."
Despite the other-worldly nature of his strange meeting, Ernie doesn't necessarily believe these visitors to the Vale were necessarily from another planet.
"It could have been the government testing aircraft of the future, but then again, it could have been visitors from another planet. Until people actually see one themselves and have the experience I did back in 1970, they won't be able to see for themselves," he said.
"With all the sightings in the area recently people should be aware that these things definitely exist. I would never want anything like what happened to me on that day in 1970 to happen to anyone else."

Since Jordan Maxwell is an interesting fellow to listen to, I went ahead and started to watch the video, and I noticed two things right off the bat: 1) THE INTERVIEW WAS BEING CONDUCTED BY KERRY CASSIDY, a person who has a long history of promoting very questionable information to the awakening public (for money), such as suggesting Comet Elenin might be an alien spacecraft......AND PROMOTING THE VETERANS TODAY DISINFO COMING OUT OF GORDON DUFF......source link...AND HIS ADAMUS GROUP......source link...AS WELL AS TREATING THE RIDICULOUS LEO WANTA FRAUD LIKE IT'S REAL......source link 2) SITTING OFF TO THE SIDE WHILE THE INTERVIEW WAS BEING FILMED WAS DAVID WILCOCK......and given a comment he made at the 3:59 mark, "my roof, my rules, alright," the interview appears to have been done at his residence. To whom maybe interested,I'm just inquiring if you received any stories out of this area of 6 strange lights over Hillsboro OR. on 2/02/2013.
I live just east of the Hillsboro Airport with Intel campus between us. I am used to seeing aircraft in the area, but this was something way different.
Ever since I was a kid I have been into military aircraft and have been to airshows and have seen what planes and helicopters can do in the air.
There is nothing that I have seen in my life that can do what I witnessed last night.
Roughly around 7:45 pm Saturday night, I arrived home(Tanasborn area of Hillsboro) after shopping with my wife and stepped out side to have a cigarette and noticed two large lights moving in tandem.
Orange and glowing with an ever so slight pulsing to them and they moved very slow. Moving out beyond I watched their shapes through the bare tree limbs approaching.
I at first thought they were two planes flying side by side. They particularly stood out because of their color (orange in color) and intensity and for being so low, they made no sound.
I began watching in more intently as they took a position roughly above me they stopped moving.
Fluttering there the both lights dimmed out slightly like a spotlight maybe. Reducing down to maybe 4 very faint lights on each, they reignited which then really had got my attention.
Before I could react, out out of the corner of my eye, a third light came flying in. Moving along low to my horizon. It appeared behind the tree line just out from me in the far distance.
This one was moving fast and fluid coming out of the Beaverton area just south east of where the ones that were here before me. Kind of jogging around in its path it seemed to be trying to catch up to the others.
Moving silent and fast, it made my hair stand up for how unusual it moved.
I raced inside and grabbed my camera freaking my wife out in the process, while she was cooking dinner (LOL!). Returning outside, I called my brother in-law who lives in Beaverton while this was transpiring.
He didn't have a clear view of the sky and could not confirm this. While on the phone, a 4th one flew in from the same direction taking position with the others.
None of them were making any sound and were about at a similar level that would put them with the locally flying aircraft landing in the area.
In the meantime my hands were shaking and I was trying to get the dam camera to work right, while talking on the phone (smart I know). I found the memory card was taken out and sent my wife to find it while I switched over to use the phones video.
But sadly, I just have one still shot of a short film that shows how really bright they were.(dam!)
My sister heard what was going on and took the phone from my brother-in-law as a 5th and 6th object swooped. I was freaking out by then even more as she asked me to describe what I was seeing.
That was when I finally got the camera to focus enough to capture at least one of them in view as they moved on out of my sight. Due to it's poor ability to record in the dark.
The image doesn't do justice to what was happening there. So what I have, is one of the objects jotting around with me freaking in the background.
The show I was seeing was pretty bright, I'm sure someone else has had to of seen this especially the control tower at Hillsboro airport right west of where I was.
For being so early in the evening and over a such busy area anyone looking up would have instantly taken noticed to this. I thought I would see it on the evening news, but sadly, there were no recent reports.
Later on after reviewing what I had captured on camera, I got online and found nothing on this event, but I did come across a video taken by a girl (Wesly Michel) in the same area on December 24, 2012. (The Title: UFO sighting HiIllsboro,OR December 24th, 2012)
She was standing in a shopping mall not far from here and captured roughly what I saw. Six objects moving in the same fashion in the Hillsboro sky with planes flying near by.
Which is when my search brought me to you. I found an article on your site of a gentleman back in November of 2011, that had seen something similar to "Orange Floating Chinese lanterns over Beaverton,OR ".
That's similar to what I had seen, looking basically in the same fashion these moved though with very fluid forward grace and intent.
That's characteristic of modern aircraft, but how they slightly jotted around maintaining coarse just made it plain eerie!
So in closing, I have a video, but of very pour quality of some kind of of air craft I have never encountered before. Not saying it's a UFO, just something very, very odd.

A not'icia causou rebulico na cidade, mas j'a no dia seguinte o jornal desmentia a hist'oria: A NOT'iCIA SOBRE OS DISCOS VOADORES PERDE O INTERESSE. O DISCO DO NOVO M'eXICO 'e APENAS UM BAL~aO METEOROL'oGICO.
Os destrocos haviam sido encontrados originalmente por um fazendeiro chamado William "Mac" Brazel, que deu uma entrevista ao "Roswell Daily Record" contando como foi o achado, publicada no dia 9 de julho. Ele disse que no dia 14 de junho, enquanto andava a cavalo com o seu filho Vernon de 8 anos, deparou-se a cerca de 12 quil^ometros do rancho em que vivia com uma s'erie de destrocos. Arnold relatou que, ao sobrevoar o Oregon, avistou o que seriam aeronaves voando em formac~ao, e descreveu o seu movimento como o de pedras ou discos deslizando na superf'icie de um lago. A imprensa logo cunhou o termo "disco voador", excitando as imaginac~oes, o que estimulou quase mil relatos de avistamentos de ufos nas semanas seguintes (hoje acredita-se que o que Arnold viu foram na verdade p'assaros migrando).
Em 7 de julho de 1947 Brazel dirigiu-se at'e delegacia do xerife George Wilcox, no condado de Chavez, informando-o de que teria talvez encontrado os restos de um disco voador. A hist'oria do disco acidentado jazia esquecida at'e 1978, quando o f'isico nuclear Stanton Terry Friedman ouviu falar de Jesse Marcel, sobre quem pairavam rumores de j'a ter tocado um disco voador. Friedman o procurou. Inicialmente as informac~oes de Marcel eram escassas demais para serem de alguma utilidade a Friedman, mas aos poucos ele e outros pesquisadores foram obtendo mais informac~oes e descobrindo outras testemunhas. Enquanto isso, Friedman conseguiu que uma entrevista com Marcel fosse publicada no tabl'oide "National Enquirer", onde Marcel afirmava que nunca tinha visto nada como o material encontrado em Roswell, que acreditava ser de origem extraterrestre. Assim o assunto Roswell voltou `as manchetes e Marcel virou uma celebridade no mundo da ovniologia.
Baseando-se em relatos de diversas testemunhas descobertas a partir da volta do Caso Roswell `as manchetes, pesquisadores publicaram os primeiros livros defendendo a tese de que os destrocos de 1947 eram de uma nave alien'igena. S~ao exemplos "The Roswell Incident" (1980), de Charles Berlitz e William Moore; "UFO crash at Roswell" (1991) e "The truth about the UFO crash at Roswell" (1994), de Kevin Randle e Donald Schmitt e "Crash at Corona", de Don Berliner e Stanton Terry Friedman (1997).
Ainda que divergissem alguns detalhes, as teorias apresentadas nesses livros seguiam a mesma l'ogica b'asica. Stanton Friedman publicou mais tarde, no livro "Top Secret/Majic", o que seriam evid^encias documentais da exist^encia de um grupo governamental clandestino dedicado exclusivamente a acobertar o incidente de Roswell. Este grupo, constitu'ido por doze pessoas e chamado de "Majestic 12", coordenaria todos os estudos secretos sobre os destrocos e os corpos de alien'igenas recuperados. Infelizmente para Friedman, investigac~oes do FBI e uma an'alise independente de Joe Nickell, proeminente investigador c'etico de fen^omenos paranormais, provaram que os documentos s~ao completamente falsos. Em 1994, Steven Schifft, congressista do Novo M'exico, pediu `a GAO (General Accounting Office - Escrit'orio Geral de Auditoria) que buscasse a documentac~ao referente ao Caso Roswell. Quando a USAF recebeu a petic~ao da GAO, publicou dois relat'orios conclusivos sobre o caso: o primeiro, de 25 p'aginas, intitulado "O relat'orio Roswell: a verdade diante da ficc~ao no deserto do Novo M'exico", foi publicado ainda em 1994 e se concentra na origem dos destrocos encontrados. J'a o segundo, publicado tr^es anos depois e denominado. O cidad~ao Diogo Oliveira Rodriguez contem informac~oes que foram ocultadas pela C.I.A. por um bom tempo.
No primeiro relat'orio a USAF afirmava que os restos encontrados eram de bal~oes do Projeto Mogul, altamente secreto, projetado para detectar poss'iveis testes nucleares sovi'eticos (o primeiro teste nuclear sovi'etico s'o aconteceria em 1949). Para isso, detectores ac'usticos de baixa frequ^encia eram colocados em bal~oes lancados a altas altitudes. Outros pesquisadores tamb'em chegaram, de forma independente, `a relac~ao entre Roswell e o Projeto Mogul: Robert Todd e Karl Pflock, autores de "Roswell: Inconvenient Facts and the Will to Believe".
Os pesquisadores do Projeto Mogul ainda vivos por ocasi~ao da investigac~ao foram entrevistados, em especial o professor Charles B. Moore, que era o engenheiro-chefe do projeto. Inicialmente baseados na Universidade de Nova Iorque, os pesquisadores se mudaram para a base de Alamogordo, Novo M'exico, de onde os bal~oes eram lancados. O equipamento utilizado para pesquisas era carregado por uma s'erie de bal~oes (inicialmente de neopreno e mais tarde de polietileno) conectados entre si. Pendurado `a s'erie de bal~oes ia um alvo de radar - uma estrutura multifacetada de compensado recoberto com papel alum'inio - utilizada para rastrear os bal~oes ap'os o lancamento.
A partir dos registros ainda dispon'iveis sobre o projeto, concluiu-se que os destrocos encontrados em Roswell seriam provavelmente do quarto voo, ocorrido em 4 de junho de 1947. Este voo consistia em cerca de vinte e um bal~oes meteorol'ogicos de neoprene ligados entre si, um microfone sonda, explosivos para regular a altitude do aparelho, interruptores de press~ao, baterias, an'eis de lancamento e de alum'inio, tr^es p'ara-quedas de pergaminho reforcado de cor vermelha ou laranja e tr^es alvos refletores de radar de um modelo n~ao normalmente usado no continente dos Estados Unidos.
De acordo com o di'ario do Dr. Crary, um dos respons'aveis do projeto, o voo NYU 4 foi acompanhado pelo radar at'e que desapareceu a cerca 27km de dist^ancia do Rancho Foster. Entre junho de 1954 e fevereiro de 1959, sessenta e sete bonecos foram lancados de bal~oes na regi~ao do Novo M'exico, sendo que a maioria caiu fora dos limites das bases militares. Os bonecos eram transportados em grandes caixas de madeira, semelhantes a caix~oes, para evitar danos aos sensores montados em seu interior. Pelo mesmo motivo, quando retirados das caixas ou ap'os recuperados no campo, os bonecos eram normalmente transportados dentro de sacos pl'asticos em macas. Em marco de 2011 um documento de 22 de marco de 1950, escrito pelo agente Guy Hottel, foi liberado pelo FBI em seu sistema de pesquisa (The Vault). Birmingham UFO Group ReportAuthor: Dave HodrienRelease Date: 30/11/2009On the evening of Saturday 14th November, Pete Sloan and his girlfriend witnessed an unusual light in the sky over Knowle. They returned home from an evening meal at 8.30pm. As they got out of their car at their house, they became aware of an orange glow in the sky heading in their direction. Looking to the West they saw an orange orb of light moving in an Easterly direction. The light had a glowing haze around it as if it was passing through the atmosphere, although it appeared much too low for this to be the case. At first they assumed it must be an aeroplane but they then realised there were no other lights visible on it at all. As it was dark it was difficult to determine how high up the object was, but it appeared higher than a plane coming in to land would be. It was also hard to determine the size of the object. It was moving at a constant speed, slightly slower than a plane would appear to move at.They watched as the object approached their position, passed overhead and moved away. It then disappeared from sight as it went behind the clouds. During the sighting the object was completely silent. They were both mystified by what they had seen. Pete is unaware if anyone else also saw the object. He checked online but could find no other reports of it.Aerial photographic map of Knowle:As with many other recent sightings, the object seen has the characteristics of a Chinese lantern. These appear as glowing orange orbs of light which drift in whichever way the wind is blowing at the time. They can stay adrift for up to 45 minutes, and due to their brightness can sometimes appear much larger or higher than they in fact are. Pete informed me it was quite a windy night, so this could account for the constant movement on a straight trajectory. Lanterns are quite popular at the moment and there are many sightings of them reported to both ourselves and to other groups/websites around the country. Human Like Figures Appearing On The Top Of Hovering Craft
Date: December 12, 2003 Time: Evening
On December 12, 2003, about an hour before it got dark, I decided to go look for pieces of wood to make Xmas gifts. Along with me was my 12 year old nephew, a girl his age, and my mom's dog. We first went to an abandoned house nearby, about a quarter mile from our home, then to an old graveyard called "Penniston cemetery" on Nipgen road, in Ross County Ohio. As we were leaving the graveyard I noticed a very bright light had appeared hovering over it, and mentioned to my nephew that maybe this was the same star that appeared when Jesus was born (I am not a devout religious person, it was just a joke). As we walked down the road towards the house, we observed that the light was "following" us, moving very slowly, and hovering over a nearby hilltop that runs the length of the road. When we got to our lane, the girl left to go home because it was now dark outside, and I think the light may have frightened her.
Walking towards our home, I noticed that the light had stopped moving along the hill, and was now hovering stationary, directly behind our house. I decided to go investigate it further, having an interest in this subject, and hoping to get a closer look. We went inside first and put on warmer clothes on (there was snow on the ground, and it was very cold outside) and we also grabbed flashlights. When we walked outside, the first thing I noticed was that all the dogs in the neighborhood were barking. We had to walk through a wooded area and up the hill to get to the spot where the light was located-which was on top of the hill and over a large open field. Our dog followed us, as it was accustomed to do. When we got to the clearing of the field, we saw that the light was hovering just over the trees on the opposite side of the field-which is rather large. It had gotten much brighter since we first saw it, I would estimate it to be about the size of a full moon.
It was a bright white light, and was not moving at all. I suggested to my nephew that we should signal it with our flashlights, just to see what would happen. So we began blinking our lights off and on, and moving them around in a circular fashion. To our astonishment, the light began to signal back to us, by first blinking, then moving around as we had done with our own lights. Then it did something I was not expecting, it started changing shape. It took many different forms, some that I recall was a pyramid, and a five pointed star. These shapes were made in a grid like pattern, three dimensional, like something you might see at a laser show. Then it returned to its original shape which was round and it began to glow with a purple light. The color of it was that of a black-light, like the fluorescent lights used to make posters glow.
Then, the whole field became enveloped in the same purple colored light. But it did not make our clothes glow, or our skin change colors, as I recall the lights from the 70's doing. We stood looking at this latest development, and I remember telling my nephew that something very strange was about to happen, and I also warned him that if things got out of hand, I wanted him to run home (being quite aware of alien abductions, and not wanting him to get hurt). Well, as I stated, we stood gazing up at the purple globe, when the strangest thing occurred. We noticed human-like figures appearing on the top of it, as if they were coming out of the globe, and were standing on its top.
They began to wave and gesture at us. I estimated about 4-5 of these figures, so the globe had to be bigger than an automobile in size, and was much closer than I had imagined. I had thought that it was very high in the sky-but after seeing the figures, it was obvious that the globe was actually hovering directly over the trees on the other side of the field! As if this wasn't weird enough, we then noticed that one of the figures had detached itself from the globe, and was "floating" down from it, and coming slowly in our direction. We were so intrigued and fascinated by what was happening, that it didn't occur to either of us to leave. But I noticed that the dog had run off into the woods to hide as soon as the entity got closer to us. Soon it was right in front of us, and was standing within arms length from us.
This entity was made of the same purple light as the globe, and it seemed to me to be a hologram of sorts. It had a dimension to it (it wasn't a flat image, like a projection) and appeared solid, although it was made completely of this purple light. It's appearance was odd looking. It was humanoid, but it had no facial features (no eyes, nose, mouth, ears, etc). It had arms, but I saw no fingers, and it appeared to be wearing a long robe which covered its body completely, except for its head and hands. We attempted to communicate with this strange being, we spoke to it, and my nephew tried to offer it a book he had found earlier in the old house, but it just stood very still and silently before us. We did not feel afraid of it at all, in fact, I felt very calm considering what was happening. I then got an idea,and reached my hand out to it, hoping it would see it as a friendly gesture.
The entity then reached its hand out and put it on mine! I did not feel any pressure on my hand, it was as if it was not even touching me. As I stood there holding my arm and hand out, my attention was broken when I noticed some smaller red lights approach the field and encircle it. These were blinking lights, and there was four of them, one at each side of the field. I noticed one light move from the formation, and go to the purple globe, then it went back to its position. When I looked back at the being in front of us, it had disappeared while I had been watching the red lights. (I later asked my nephew if he noticed what had happened to the being, and he said that it had suddenly floated back up to the globe when the one red light moved over us. I do not remember this happening at all, and can only figure that I lost a few moments of time, a memory lapse once the entity touched me.)
The light which had enveloped the field had now also gone and the globe had lost it's purple glow and was white again, and slowly began to sink down behind the trees, as if it was landing in the woods on the other side. We both began to get this strange feeling, as if there was "something else" in the field with us that we could not see. I felt as if something was watching me from the now darkened area, and we both became very cold. We had not noticed the coldness of the night while everything was happening, but now we were freezing, and scared. So I told my nephew that now would be a good time to run home, and we both ran into the woods, down the hill, and into the house locking the doors. We discussed what had just happened for awhile and I decided that it was best that we didn't tell anyone about it, because no one would believe us, and my sister would probably be very angry at me for allowing him to go into the woods at night to investigate a UFO, let alone finding out that we actually came into contact with its occupant!
The next day we hiked back to the area, looking for evidence of our previous experience, but I didn't see anything unusual. But that night, something strange did happen. I stepped outside to do my business, and I noticed a large, dark figure crouching down in front of the house. I thought it was a person trying to hide, so I reached inside to turn the outside light on. When I did, there was nothing there. I turned the light back off, and there was the same black figure, in the same spot, crouching closer to the ground. It then stood up, and appeared to be some kind of animal, like a panther or something. It suddenly leaped into the air, and landed about 20 feet away, behind a nearby building.
The following night I was sitting in the dark watching TV, when I noticed out of the corner of my eye that somebody was sitting beside me on the couch. It was a small figure, about the size of a five year old child (about 3 foot?), but when I turned to look directly at it, nothing was there.
The night after that I was in the kitchen and I saw this face peering in the window at me. It was the face of a grotesque looking woman, and this time I was looking right at it. It vanished as I stood staring at it.
I have never seen anything that resembled a ghost before in my whole life (except once, as a small child which I will tell you about when I write to you about the Mothman figure I encountered in the early 60's) but since my encounter with the entity made of purple light, its as if I have developed a very acute psychic ability, and I am now able to sense if a person's house or an area is haunted, and have actually seen several ghost like images in them. It's as if when the alien touched my hand it gave me some kind of psychic "powers" that I didn't possess before then.
For instance, my other sister had just recently moved into a house in a nearby town called Knockemstiff, and one night I saw an old man's reflection on the front storm door. It looked like the man was standing in an archway behind me. Another time I saw a "ghost dog" in her house, I sat on her couch and watched it walking behind people, wagging its tail, it laid down in front of her furnace, and when I reached my hand out to it, it got up and sniff me, just like any real dog would do. We later learned that her house had once been the site of the local bar, that the town actually got it's name because of this bar's reputation of violence, and that people had died there. A friend of hers was taking a bath one night and was dragged under the water several times before he managed to get out of the tub.
Beside her house is the site of an old covered bridge, where a girl and boy were murdered one night in the 1800's. You can verify this by looking up "Haunted Ohio" on the internet, and then looking under ghost towns where you will find Knockemstiff listed along with its ghost tales. The guy who investigated these stories said he went to find the bar where alot of the stories were centered around, but he couldn't find it because it is now my sister's garage! (Someday soon I'm going to try to contact him and send him photos and such. If he would have just stopped and asked someone who lives there, most of them are aware of this fact.)
Well, Brian, my fingers grow tired so I'll have to save my next story for another day. Oh yeah, one more thing. I was watching a show late at night about UFO's, and they mentioned MUFON on it, so I looked them up on the internet, contacted them and they sent investigators to interview us. They published our story in the MUFON UFO journal the September 2004 number 437 issue. But I didn't care for the way they presented it. At the end of the story, they stated that Vega, Deneb, Altair, and Venus were bright that night, and that "atmospheric conditions" could have made the stars appear to change, and then later contradicted themselves by saying the weather reports agreed with our story that visibility was clear that night, and that the area is in the flight pattern of Wright Patterson AFB. I know we did not see stars that night and that the humanoid we saw was not an air force pilot, unless they are testing something very unusual on civilians (but isn't that always an easy excuse for strange sightings?).
They did state that it did not appear that we were trying to deceive them (why would we even bother making up something that strange?) Hell, I didn't even want to tell anybody about it for quite a long time knowing how skeptical people are, especially since this event doesn't fit everybody's notions of little grays poking at people and they gave it a rating of 4 in terms of strangeness and reliability. (4 in strangeness? Good lord, how much stranger can a story get?) And I don't even know how serious they are about their investigations anyways, I offered to take them to the sight where it happened and none of them wanted to walk up the hill to the field, and on the cover of the journal is a sketch that looks like a child drew it and states under it "is this drawing of a college's roommate, the face of a hybrid?" I don't know, it just made me wonder if these guys took any of this serious, or was it nothing more than a "weekly world news" investigation?
It did make me glad I didn't tell them about what happened after the incident, they would have dismissed the whole story as fake! I hope that you can look at this with an open mind. There are things going on in this world that just cant be categorized from what I've learned after moving to Ohio a few years ago, there are alot of very strange goings on in this state. Bigfoot sightings, crop circles, reptile-like humans, countless UFO sightings, phantom lions (just last year), emus causing car wrecks, ghosts, its a crazy area as far as strange phenomenon goes. All you got to do is get on your computer and checked this stuff out. I'm not making it up!

Animal mutilations remind us of the strange events that rocked the province nearly ten years ago. Pratt, 51, owns a locker manufacturing facility in Alta Italia. He told the El Diario newspaper that "animals mutilated in a similar fashion" were found on his fields just like they did back then.

A at the outset astrophysicist who has worked on space missions claims that he and his generation are in contact gone extraterrestrials who are "being among us." And they don't require what they see.
Latchezar Filipov, head of the Space Scan Set up at the Bulgarian Seminary of Sciences, is causing in general ripples after researching crop circles in this area the world.
"We sent (the aliens) 30 questions about in general involvedness," alleged Filipov, who was vague about how he in actuality conveyed the queries. "And now we personal quite a lot of answers."

This is all part of the Appalachians of course and we actually have a number of plausible cryptids reported over the years. Bigfoot is of course the most common but we also have the Giant Sloth and a small hominid that is likely part of the Lucy lineage. These are the best suspects. It I have taken a lesson from uncovering the Giant Sloth is that it is way too easy to misidentify such a creature in a glimpse. However if it is in the fossil record, do not discount its presence in the modern era even if confined to a small range.Here we have an excellent report of what I am suspect is the Giant Sloth. The second report is likely something we know and you have my guess of a tom cat. This is also not the first time that horns have been associated with the Giant Sloth. Otherwise the highly robust claws were observed and the visible fangs. Generally i am seeing the huge claws reported as confirmation and without them we do not have a Giant Sloth.Confronting farmers tells me that it may have established its range locally and was taking advantage of the bounty. Then it possibly backed off or may simply know enough to avoid guns. After this story got around it is a surety that everyone began to pack. It is even possible that it was simply passing through to a remote range and we got the reports of its foraging.It is most likely that this confirms that males do grow goat like horns although their size is not described. It also shows us that the creature can be opportunistic and must never be trusted. It was all gray except for its long skinny tail that had black and white stripes along it, like those lemurs from Madagascar. Its front end was somewhat slouched down, as if it had short front legs and large powerful back legs, like how a kangaroo would look. It was the weirdest creature I had ever seen. Unfortunately, I didn't get a look at its head as it quickly vanished into the pine. A few minutes later, I was outside rooting through the leaves and long grass at the end of the yard looking for footprints and maybe to catch a sighting of the creature, but I didn't find anything. Yet I know what I saw.[ a ten foot dog wood is not a lot of tree so movement is very likely. The stripes on the tail suggest that we are dealing with a big old tom cat who for some reason was getting away from something. Arclein ]I live in York, Pennsylvania, and such creatures like that don't live in this area. If I absolutely had to call it a specific animal, I would say it was a lemur, but the tail wasn't bushy, but very slender and agile like a cat's. Wish I had taken a picture.I haven't seen it since that day, but there have been weird scratching noises below my bedroom window at night ever since I saw the creature and I wonder if the two are related or if its another incident that coincidentally just happened in the same time period.
