At a press release Tuesday the H.R. MACMILLAN SPACE CENTRE claimed responsibility of the mass UFO SIGHTING hat occurred Friday September 6, 2013 at a minor league baseball game in Vancouver, Canada. ANYTHING UFO did a story on this sighting and we wanted to update our readers on the admission of this elaborate hoax.

The UFO hoax was a result of a brainstorm between the Space Centre and an ad agency to promote a newly renovated planetarium located at the the Space Centre. The campaign included the release of photos of a drone in the shape of the Space Centre to social media to UFO bloggers, Twitter and Facebook.
